As part of the CSIR-4PI foundation day 2022 calibration and Youth Skills day, a batch of students, along with their teachers,  from Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidyalaya in Bangalore visited the CSIR-4PI Cyber Security Research and Observation (CySeRO) laboratory, apart from other facilities at CSIR-4PI. The students were divided into three separate batches and interactive sessions on cyber security were held for each batch. They were apprised about the “Cyber Jaagrookta” programme of Government of India and the importance of being extremely vigilant on various possible cyber-attacks that could happen in the digital world. Guidelines and best practices for securing digital devices were also provided. Last but not the least, they were also informed the huge potential and opportunity for research and technology development related to the domain of cyber security, especially for next generation talents like school students and young professionals.
